With the breeding season drawing to a close we have around 70 new foals on the ground with a similar number of mares returned to breeding for next year’s season. This will put a large number of top quality yearlings into the market in years to come. Take a peek at some on our Gallery page to see some of this year’s crop. Cold Mountain is pleased to offer a few yearlings at the Sydney APG and Redcliffe sales in the new year. Watch for these American samples.

All stallion service fees include a live foal guarantee and there are discounts for multiple bookings. We can provide chilled semen and on-farm service.

ON THE TRACK

Lonestar Legend has come to Australia and is working hard under the expertise of trainer Paul Fitzpatrick. Lonestar is no stranger to fame and hard work having smashed the world record last year by beating Shadow Play’s own world record breaking run at the Little Brown Jug elimination races shortly before. Those in the know will recall the record was once held by another now familiar name in Australia, a certain horse called Mr Feelgood.

Lonestar Legend has had 5 wins from 10 starts since being in Australia and ran second in the Newcastle Mile but failed to match the speed required in the Miracle Mile a week later. He is taking a little R and R and will be back soon.
